urban chickens on the Today Show!

I'll be brief and let the video segment do the talking. So great to see this ran in the first hour of the NBC Today Show this morning. I used to work at 30 Rockefeller back in my AOL Time Warner days and I never thought in a million years I'd see chickens clucking and scratching on Rockefeller Plaza.

Almost six-and-a-half minutes of urban chickens on the tele!

Thanks for posting this on FaceBook -- I've forwarded it to all my friends and especially the woman here in Oregon who is fighting for the simple right to keep three hens in our capital city.

My daughter and I were just out today putting some stain on the outside of the mini-coop I built. We don't have chickens yet but we're almost ready!

Our last group of chicks were supposed to be sexed as girls but we got an accidental rooster. A Wyandotte. He's gorgeous! In his honor, I did an illustration of him. And his sister. Their names are Wyan and Dot.
I put the drawing on a t-shirt and some gift items for fun and called my tee shirt 'my peeps'.

Thanks for your blog. I love finding other chicken lovers. :-)
I'll check back often now that I've found you!
